HWT Handwriting Lessons

In this group of handwriting lessons, tracing will gradually become less common. The letters that are introduced are ... f, u, h, l, g, k, v, w

Starting with Lesson 36, Endings might show up on some lessons. The endings that I have added to this group are: ud, ut, un, id, in, it, ill, an, and, at, ot, og

What the Colors Mean

Light orange means that a letter is introduced for the first time.

Light green means a word is used in the lesson.

Pink indicates the lesson will include an uppercase letter.

Uppercase letters are not being introduced or practiced as often as one might require. If this is the case, please visit HWT Handwriting Practice Worksheets K-1 to print uppercase letter practice.

The Files

Lessons 25 & 26:
Lesson 25- n, o, ant
Lesson 26- f, s, feet

Lessons 27 & 28:
Lesson 27- u, h
Lesson 28- n, e, sun, run

Lessons 29 & 30:
Lesson 29- u, n, nut
Lesson 30- u, f, if, fun

Lessons 31 & 32:
Lesson 31- l, L, m, mill
Lesson 32- o, t, eel, lot

Lessons 33 & 34: Lesson 33 has a blank line. The student could write the words from lesson 33 on the forth line.
Lesson 33- a, f, fan, man, can, ran, and
Lesson 34- c, g, cog, fog, dog, log, nog

Lessons 35 & 36: Both lessons have a blank line and a sentence. Lesson 36 contains "endings." You should decide if the student will write the endings again or add a consonant to each of the endings to form words, and then write the words.
Lesson 35- g, f, See the dog run.
Lesson 36- Ss She said no., ud, ut, un

May 13, 2021 Endings - Make Words or Write the Endings Again

Lessons 37 & 38:
Lesson 37- f, g, c, L Land
Lesson 38- id, in, it, ill
Lesson 38 contains endings. Decide if the student will write the endings again or add a consonant to each of the endings to form words, and then write the words.

Lessons 39 & 40:
Lesson 39- w, cow, now, wow
Lesson 40- an, at, and, She was seen
Lesson 40 contains endings. Decide if the student will write the endings again or add a consonant to each of the endings to form words, and then write the words.

Lessons 41 & 42:
Lesson 41- m, h, f, and a blank line for the handwriting practice of your choice
Lesson 42- k, A rock is in **my sock. Please note that I used uppercase A and the letter y and, so far, neither letter has been introduced in these handwriting lessons. Because of this, I made the letters "solid" with direction arrows. **Additionally, the word my has not been covered by the reading lessons.

Lessons 43 & 44:
Lesson 43- l, m, n, h
Lesson 44- o, k, f, and a blank line for the handwriting practice of your choice.

Lessons 45 & 46:
Lesson 45- m, h, f, a blank line for the handwriting practice of your choice
Lesson 46- v, Endings: ot, og - The student should add a consonant in front of the last 3 endings to make a word.

Lessons 47 & 48:
Lesson 47- sh, S, v, sentences: She is old. and She gave a fish..
Lesson 48- w, v, W, We see a cat. , a blank line for the handwriting practice of your choice

Lessons 49 & 50:
Lesson 49- th, this, that, car, T, Th, That, That car is a hot rod.
Lesson 50- w, f, That was fun., a blank line for the handwriting practice of your choice
