Kindergarten Art Lists
Although art is mostly "playing" in kindergarten there should be some guided classes that enhance art skills as well as listening skills and following instructions. By the end of kindergarten children should have improved: painting with large brushes and using scissors, and they should be able to recognize and name colors, not necessarily the word, but the color.

Although I am not going to cover music or dance in the art section, children should be exposed to music and dance as an art. They can learn songs, they can learn to play instruments, they can listen to music, learn about composers, go to plays, and try out some interpretive dancing of their own.
